Visa And Flight Question

I have decided that I will spend 6 months each year in Thailand, 3 months Thailand, 3 months UK etc.

I intend on entering on a tourist visa for 60 days in February and applying for the 30 day extension. My question is, that I intend on booking a flight in the next few days with an exact arrival date, and departure date that will exceed the original 60 days visa. Do the authorities have a problem if the return flight was 90 days later, when I only have a 60 day visa, or is this not something they check or that I should be concerned with.

Yes. The airline will let you check in, and on arrival in Thailand you will be admitted for 60 days without being asked to show your ticket.

Maestro, Thanks for the quick response. I did not want to book a air ticket covering the 90 days, only to find this would cause a problem on my arrival with a 60 day visa. That has put my mind at rest - Cheers
