rainman
Always much easier dealing with these matters under cover of darkness...8pm? Isn't there some regular tv program shown at that time, on most channels and on most nights? The easiest time to remove the old PAD ladies sitting there. Just keep the big flat screen TV plugged into a generator while you drive it out of the airport and they'll all walk behind fearing they'll miss a split second of their favorite soap opera. Gravelrash
So let's get this right. One of most corrupt police forces in the world was instructed to commence removal of PAD by the most corrupt collection of thieves and their relatives this side of Africa , correct ?Question, whenever has the RTP been known to act without "some inducement" ? Question, When has any Thai understood the concept of time ? Question, From which camp do the Police tradtionally belong and look up to ? Question, Why should a bunch of semi illiterate fools who can not even direct traffic properly, nor themselves obey the rules of the road be expected to undertake a lawfull instruction as planned? Question, Planning is beyond the comprehension of many in this country except for, that is, taking illegal amounts of THB out of the country, therefore how does one suppose this plan will be implemented ? Question, Has Toxin sanctioned the payment of bonus's to these cretons based on their kill rate or serious injury to the PAD ? Question, When do you think this nonsense will end and control and government will be returned to the better educated ? And before you ask I neither support PAD or the other morons but I do support the believe that any country should be run by those most able and qualified. One man one vote is drivvel put forward by those with socialistic ideals but wool between their ears. Proof - then look at USA electing Bush, UK electing Thatcher, and of course Thailand electing Toxin. So I assume you were booked for not wearing a helmet then? Hmm, the first of many problems with your theory is who is the most qualified? You offer no system to choose but I suppose at least you felt better sharing your new and improved political system after a few coldies. Interesting that you would bring up the term drivel... bucknutthai
20:00 hrs? Let's get it on. I want to come home. Korean Air won't confirm my ticket for the 4th of Dec. And yes I booked it 1 hr before the PAD showed up at the airport. Great timing huh?
Gravelrash
The PAD leaders have to know the dangers of children / ederly women being their pawns. Why would they continue to encourage them to stay there knowing the eminent danger. It seems they don't care about Thailand or their supporters. They are there deliberately, does the term human shield ring a bell? If not how about sympathy factor? More cannon fodder, but if it serves the greater cause of getting the right snouts back in the public trough who cares?
NanLaew
Your local branch of Bangkok Bank keeps over 15 million in cash on hand in Isaan? Bloody amazing ennit jd? That these ignorant isaan peasant types actually have lots and lots of money in the same banks as those royalist elitist types in the city. I can guarantee that some branches HAD 15 million in cash on hand until yesterday. The rumour hit our mooban just after lunch and my good woman pulled out all but a token sum and can confirm the teller said the run had been substantial at that branch since mid-morning. ChiangMaiThai
The domestic terrorists that are occupying Government House and the two Bangkok airports are duping the PAD supporters by telling them that their collective action will improve the quality of life for all Thais. The terrorists are using women, children and the elderly as human shields to accomplish their limited agenda. The governments failure is huge however the terrorist actions by core PAD leaders is reprehensible. The leaders of PAD need to be removed from society, perhaps for decades, as punishment for despicable acts against humanity. There is no justification for endangering the public and cripling the economy. The PAD supporters here on TV are unfortunate victims of a domestic terrorist group. We all should feel sorry for every victim now and for those who will fall during the impending violence to come. Are you insane?

Sondhi's problems date back to a legal battle with his former friend Toxic Shittywater. There are some libel convictions and a couple of other cases that are being dragged through the courts. Getting rid of the government will not make them go away as such BUT a different government may see fit to put forward a clemency case to the parliament. Such political bravery they have shown. Excellent point, playing golf is more important than the destruction of the economy, tourism and job losses (not the elite of course) this madness is causing. He may even get a retrenched former hotel manager as his caddy. Some positions in life require you to do what is right and fulfill the obligations to your job, and not what is expedient for social sports. A point that sadly eludes you. If he were actually concerned about PAD injuries then having the guts to take charge and ensure such would be the honorable thing to do. Why can't people get past their uninvited political affiliations and see the harm this is causing. Not to the ring leaders but to the nation. And what will change with a new government, no more corruption eh, wake up.

womble
They would be best to desperse the crowd at around 4:30am when people will be most tired....... They should carry on negotiating (not that it will get anywhere), then send in the troops. Tear gas may be a bad idea, confined space, lots of people, small exits, could lead to people being trampled to death. I still can't believe there are childeren in there, what are the parents thinking. The PAD leaders should tell all under 18s to leave. Although in Thailands case under 25's, as they still view anyone under 25 as a child.......
