This is fun! :D

Padma, please don't sleep and type at the same time. It is very harzardous.

If you don't have any experience in Thai married relationship personally, i suggest (again) to seek life else where. And i suppose you are not Thai and trying to defend something you don't even understand.

There are no slave in married life, it is called resposibility. And i believe you don't even know the meaning of the word resposibility in the world of marriage.

Padma, take a look around and please understand the custom around you before trying to pull your women rights thing in here.

I believe your point has no point and merely wasting time (why do i even bother!).

Explorer,

What are you implying I'm saying.

I think Mattnich's wife did good coming from a poor farming family.

I said if she had other possibilities in life she may have lived a different life.

I know plenty of Thai women.  My best friend here is a thai women.  She, all of them are educated and don't do housework for their men. They fortunately come from wealthy families.

Your reality of Thailand seems very different of mine.

There is a modern thailand where women aren't treated as objects and slaves.

Wake up!  You're all not sleep walking are you?

You come from a part of Thailand that is perhaps foreign to 99% of Thais.

I think Padma had just "crossed" the line. There are lines in giving comments to another person here, but telling someone that their wife made a bad choice marrying them is way below the belt. ...'

I do agree, endless discussions with no real contents from a very high handed position.

However, I do see a pattern when comparing

Ms Nina http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9263&hl=

and

padma http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15664&hl=

The whole discussion between padma and mattnich reminds me so much of

Ms Nina and Yohan.

Anybody believes in reincarnation or is it just co-incident?
