Where would you live in Cambodia? Phnom Penh ? The ugliest city in the world. What would you do for work? Or would you spend your last days between the walkabout pub and sharkys? or maybe k11 If you were going there to clear landmines or make artificial limbs I applaud you Vietnam? communist government that listens into your phonecalls and you cannot drive due to fear of being aimed at every two minutes. The place is full of low lifes and misfit relics left over from the war. I hated the place on every occasion I had to be there. Each to their own, I suppose, but Id rather be with a fat bird in Brisbane <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tornado; a friend of mine has an excellent business in Vung Tao, personally, the place is not for me. Mt comment was that I can get a job - of unknown duties in Cambodia, I speak Khmer, and can work for the government. Mind you, well up north and no where near there. I would definitely choose Bali over Australia, though. I will always consider myself Australian, but can't see myself living there for the rest of my life. Nice place to visit, but I lived there for over 30 years, and that's enough (for now anyway). Never say never. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know a coupld of girls in their 30's from melbourne who have set up camp overseas, seems quite a few ladies like to shack up with balinese guys, one I know has a kid with one of the guys over there, although the kid is primarily in OZ. Personally Bali has about as much to offer as Burma, sitting on the beach all day gestating isnt my idea of life. There isnt much else there though! The good thing about Thailand is you can live quite a few completely different lifestyles just by moving around, Up North, Issarn, Pattaya, Phuket, Kanchanaburi way, even god forbid, Bangkok! I really enjoy Malaysia, there is heaps to do, if you have friends there, especially locals it can be great fun, I had just as much fun and nightlife there as I did in Thailand, like everywhere, just do your homework and find out where to go. KL is an easy city to get around if you know it, there's alot of great accomodation just outside of KL, the government loves to give you massive incentives to stay and spend your money there, driving is easy, stick to the rules you are pretty well left alone, and Penang is a short flight away, internal flights are very cheap, 100 ringgit will get you to Penang, about 1K baht. Many were family men who stood to lose their jobs and marriages if convicted of pedophilia offences, and they could not cope with the shame of arrest, the Daily Mail reported. The men were among thousands of suspects held during Operation Ore, the British end of a US investigation launched in 2002 into a pay-per-view child pornography website based in Texas, the paper reported. I think if you ran a search for UK workers, you'd be in second place. Perhaps it never came up because we're lumped in with the European 48-hour maximum which doesn't fully apply to UK employees who cannot be forced to work over this amount of hours, but usually do. Personally, I'm glad to see the back of 100-hour plus weeks but was always pleased when pay day came. Problem is, so many people in the UK are obsessed with earning as much as possible (and more often than not, have to) and consequently giving up so much of their time.
