Applying For And Getting Reentry Permit

can i rely on getting a reentry permit at the airport the same day as the flight, just before i leave?

or should i get one at immigration before i leave the country to be on the safe side?

It works. But don't forget to bring a passphoto, as you can't have them made at the airport.

They are open 24 hours a day. You first need to get your boarding pass at check in and then go to the left side of immigration, before going to immigration itself. Cost is 1,000 for a single, 3,800 for a multiple. The process doesn't take long.

I am also looking to get the TM8 prior to a holiday trip, easy at an immigration office - unless you are not close to such an office my POV is that I should have it in place prior to going to the airport. I'm in Pattaya so I understand it is easy to say this.

Don't know other airports.

Not here on Samui airport.

I understand you can also email it to Immigration BKK and pick it up the next day, when you also have to brring the photo.
