zero is the first number.... I am sorry but you will have to start your count again.

divide the total by 100 and you will probably have the number of regular posters

I even doubt that Stu.

I even doubt that Stu.

So why don't you try and find a board with more regular members?

14,959?...I'm number 14,998...hmmm

Do those that are banned still count?

everyone who have registered counts, TV haven't done their spring cleaning yet. Maybe when they do, i'll get my #69 member number.

Feeling a bit bored, so here's some stats from the "members" data base on TV

Total posts 230857

Members 14851

Out of those figs :-

10554 members or 71% have made 1 or less posts

Mod/Admin's have made 17% of overall posts with Dr PP contributing 5% one his own.

Thats about 1 in 6 posts is made by a Mod/admin

The top 50 posters have made 25% of the posts and the top 100, 36%

So the top 100 posters plus Mod/Admin's have made a total of 53% of all posts on this board.

Makes you think, without the prolific posters what would the rest read rolleyes.gif

Cheers RC

Yes I was bored that day :o

Sure were RC.

On the members page I ran two queries to view activity over the last month:

"Last visit is more than 11-22-2004"

"Last post more than 11-22-2004"

These returned 2250 and 1350 member names respectively (rounded up to the nearest 50). That's not a bad figure; nothing like the 15,000 but no one expects that. I reckon some web sites must have far less - amazing how they can sell any advertising space. Well done Thai Visa.

Remember the number includes those with multiple nicknames - a forbidden practice,

and those who have been sent on holiday by the moderators,

plus a few other anomolies.

George and Dr Pat have higher numbers than we expect from the progenitors of the forum.

Still a good place to be........!!
