i have no internet access at my apartment (using GPS with my phone now), and they are blaming it on the undersea cables that were just cut in the mediterranean... is anyone else in BKK affected by this or is it b.s.? my friends in lad prao and in the south seem to have ok connections still....

Tell them they're full of crap. Most of Thailand's internet comes over the Pacific cable.
