Beach Road, which one is that then???? Cha Am Beach Road you could buy a Guesthouse for 1000 baht as no-one stays, except no-hopers and cheap charlie's.

I believe Kiwiace is talking about Hua Hin, try "Top Marks" its in the centre and approx 1 year old. Feb is a busy time so please book to avoid problems.

I always stayed at the subhamitra hotel opposite the temple, and if you ring them you can book one of their private rooms that are spacious and still under 1000bht

Thanks for the replys,but since the tsumai ,have had a change of plans

and will head for Pattaya.What a huge dissaster,I have pledged some cash here in NZ

& have 2 million dong that nobody wants to exchange in NZ,Does anyone know

where I can send this money to help out? cheers kiwiace

Hua Hin was unaffected by the tsunami. Only the Andaman side got hit.
