I'm looking for puppies and kittens in the Pattaya area.

The girlfriend is interested in petshop animals, however I've convinced that it's better to acquire an animal from a shelter or one in need of a home.

I've seen the Tony's Animal shelter adverstiment on TV and was thinking of checking it out, anybody been over and had a look??

Or does anyone have an kittens or pups and are looking at homes for em??

check out the pets thread, plus, a perusal through this forum and the pattaya forum will show more than a few animals looking for a home.

There's a thread running in the Pattaya Forum about Tony's. Suggest you take a look and from what I understand if you could take a dog from there you'd be doing the dog (and probably your karma) a big favour.

Please don't buy a puppy from a pet shop or the market.

They are in-bred at puppy farms and often are fatally ill when you buy them. If not, they frequently get very ill within the first few months, and their behaviour can be atypical of the breed due to inbreeding and lack of proper care.

There are websites giving you information on proper breeders you can visit and check out, and there are also many posts on forums from people wishing to find homes for puppies.

Or just adopt a puppy or dog from your Soi - many turn out to be wonderful pets.

If you are patient, you will find a good puppy without going to a pet shop.

I am quite sure you will have NO problem finding dogs in Pattaya not sure where you,ll find the cats ???

If you are still looking I have a vaccinated. 8 month old golden lab that I just cannot cope with any longer. He is actually a great dog but like most labs he needs constant attention and human company, my idiot Thai partner bought him because he is pretty and given no thought to how two busy people are ging to cope with him.

I would dearly love to find a home where he can be looked after properly as he really is a sweet lovable and very loving fella but I just don't have the time to deal with him and m Thai partner just has not got a clue!

If anyone else reads this and wants him, please let me know!

Hi I have to leave Pattaya & have a 5/6 month old bitch, shes good with Kids & cats, I really need a good home for her, I have been to tonys before there is many there but alot of them need treatment ! I had injections for my dog, she will need to spade in 1 or 2 months. Hope you can help me as i have only 1 week ! many thanks
