My 6 month tourist visa expires on the 3rd of january.

My plan is to travel to Penang to get a new one. I already

have two 6 month tourist visas in my passport, but not back to back.

Can anyone tell me if this is still the best place to go for a new one?

I'm living in Samui, so it would be easier for me to travel by bus

don there. Has anyone had any recent experiences in doing this?
