Online Food Importers?

Recommended Posts

I'm in Bangtao for 6 months and looking for some good food importers where I can e-mail/web my order online for some international fare.

I'm getting an order in with Kirk from Nanafoods and DonsFood which advertises here, so that should be Italian sauces and beef sorted. I'm looking for all kinds of ideas... Indian, Mexican, Italian, Indonesian, Asian... willing to consider anyone with a price list!

Is there an online resource with importers that offer delivery?

Or anyone here that sells imported foods?

I'd like to mix things up. I'm on a bodybuilding diet and eat 5-6 times a day... thai food will get boring very quickly, especially at my amateur level of cooking it!

Cheers guys, DK

Thanks, I did notice Choice Foods actually when I went to the night market the other evening (a big, big disappointment that the market was!). I'll pop in and have a look next time I'm at Tesco. Cheers.

very impressed with the quality of choice foods however 8 times out of 10 I go there it is closed. They concentrate mainly on restaurant supply so quite often their packaged frozen meat is too big for what I want for a family BBq however if you order mid week they will package as per your request and have it ready for the weekend

I've been waiting for months for this 'Farang Mart' place to open (assuming it's the the same place I've been watching). It does not impress me how long it took to shop fit (3 months). Also it's quite a small place, also will have a pharmacy, and I wonder how much space there will be for 'Farang' type foods. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Yes, it takes ages. I have been inside the shop already and seen some of his food products, should not take to long for his opening.......

btw Alex:

Do you know a good shop which makes(welding) garden/house gates, I need a new one.400cmx130cm.

I know you are the man who knows!

Find a place near your home. There are plenty of places in the Kathu area. Just shop about for the best price. 4m x 1.3m with runners & fitting. You'll be looking at least 20,000 baht just for mild steel. Lot lot more for stainless.

Where's this shop located?

Where's this shop located?

Not far from the intersection/lights of Nanai Road end (south), road over to Karon, road down to Patong beach. Opposite the huge big new development in one of the single floor older shops, before the Honda dealership. Next to Man U paintings shop.

It didn't impress me either that they took so long they were under contract to finish the shop in 45 days!!! I sorted of expected it being in Thailand the main problem was the builder kept getting fined by the police for his burmese labour 60K per sight per month, apparently he had 4 sights....ouch!! There was also a major leak in the wall cavity and now I am in Aus for my grannys funeral be back soon, it will open soon it's pretty much ready to go the Farangmart website is also 95% finished. I'll be looking for feedback when it's open don't be shy.

Any request?
