Following a very interesting thread in the DIY Housing forum about hardwoods, I want to buy a few small 'samples' of hardwood that I can compare/scrutinise etc as a suitable wood to use as the building material for my new house.

Does anyone know of a hardwood supplier/retailer in or near Phuket - either of old salvaged wood or new wood?

Sorry I meant the bypass. There are two wood yards next to each other, opposite that abandoned building project. The one on the left side will order what wood you are after if they have not got it in there yard.
