It's time to take my son out of his 70,000 baht little international school soon and look for a bilingual school considerably less expensive. He's 3 years old. Can anyone recommend such a school? He's half Thai half English so a 50/50 language slit or thereabouts is fine. We live close to an MRT station at Asoke so central Bangkok is what we're looking for.

One well-known school in Rangsit has got my wife's attention, but it's one hel_l of a drive each day.

I know a pretty good one where are my kids but it's not in your area (Viapawadi, Lardprao, Rachadapisek), well by undergrond, it's only a few station.

Name is Yamsaad

THE point is that it's not that cheap. The 70,000 THB you pay now (/year, I presume) is very reasonable.

At Yamsaad, Thai section is less than that but bilingual is a little bit more than 70,000 THB / year.

70K a year or a term? 70K a year is quite cheap even for a bilingual school. Sarasas Ektra in Yannawa is a bilingual school at about 70K a year. Kids from the Sukhumvit area can be picked up in a school van and taken home. I don't know what the cost of the van pickup is.

Mine was 5000B per term, from Phrakhanong to On Nut (Deep into Soi 77).

The prices were higher for more distant pickup/drop off.

Thanks guys, I'll check those out. I'm paying 70K PER TERM at the moment which doesn't seem worth it (native teachers are leaving, facilities are minimal) plus the £ to Baht exchange rate hasn't helped.

If English Native Speaking teachers are living, it's not an international nor a bilingual school. It's nothing.

70k THB / term for international is VERY cheap.

70k THB / term for bilingual it's nearly normal, first of all in your area

Do not expect bilingual school for nearly free.

What about Anglo Singapore International, it's on Sukhumvit 31. It's a small school, but growing bigger all of the time. The boy would have to learn Chinese as well.

p.m. me if you'd like more information or google them, they have a website.
