One thing I'm sure of is that it can't get much worse than 2004.

My predictions:

- legislation is passed in Bangkok to allow casinos to open in designated areas (to stimulate interest in potential tourists)

- on the days immediately preceding election day, Thaksin promises free cases of Chang along with the free cows to all potential voters

- my nicotine addiction does not subside

- a few million more brain cells vanish from beneath my skull cap

- that moldy cheese in the back my fridge gets moldier

1- I will break a world record for freshwater fishing.

2- I still won't eat fish.

3- Whilst reaching into his pocket during a speech, Thaksin will accidently drop an old crumpled piece of paper on which the cameras will zoom in... the one origami bird he has signed! :D

4- I will again gain weight but will grow to an amazing 7 feet and 8 inches! :o
