February 3, 200917 yr I am looking for a great place to make a couple of suites for wedding and guests... maybe even dress.Any suggestions on a place in CM? I am also looking for this, but my main question is: What entails a great suit? How do I know these places will do a good job? By listening to someone who has had clothes made at said tailors. I have had stuff made at Neramit and have had no complaints whatsoever. Many friends have their clothes (trousers and shirts etc) done there exclusively. This guy is a professional (not like the measurement takers on Changklan)

Same you VIBE: I don't have a clue about this... So never had one suit done here, unless I had "visited" some shops... So, by the way, before making a try at Neramit, what to check or watch about the work?.. Cheers, Gobs

Cheers, Gobs How would you judge a suit you had made at home (forget the price for the moment) You would judge it on cut, quality of the cloth, how well it fitted you, whether you got what you thought you had ordered etc. Why would you judge it any differently whether you had it made in Hong Kong, KL, Singapore or little old Chiang Mai. I say some great stuff in the Grand Bazaar in Turkey. But the ones to be wary of are the guys standing outside shops on Changklan who only take measurements and then send it out to a sweat house to be cut and sewn up. Same as on Sukhumvit in the big mango. Edited February 3, 200917 yr by john b good
