Unless You already have the Nokia N-series pc suit, I suggest You download it from the internet and move all data You want to a computer, and take it from there.

Have downloaded the Pc Suite and uploaded all the info from the phone to PC, all the contacts have been saved in some bizzare format that is only good for sending back to another Nokia and cannot be opened on the PC. Unfortunately my new phone is a Blackberry.

Anyone else dealt with this before?

If I remember correctly You can synchronize it with Outlook, that ought to do it.

Thats correct. You must first synchronize ALL your contact data with Outlook tp keep it on your PC.

Don't know much about Blackberry but trust you can synchronize with Outlook as well. Another thought when it comes to phone numbers.

You can store them on your SIM card an later play back to you new phone.

Hi :o

From within PC Suite it should also be possible to "export" the phone book as a csv or something file (comma separated value?) which can be opened in Excel.

Usually "PC Suite" type applications for other phones support this format for "importing" phone books.

That way i got my data from a Nokia to a Sony-Ericsson and later from the Sony-Ericsson to a Samsung and from there to a Huawei and another Samsung. This format saves names, phone numbers, e-mail and address data as well as information such as caller groups or assigned ringtones.

About the N70, bring it to MBK and have it fixed, cost around 750 Baht, that phone is still worth it.

Best regards......

We lost the screen on a Nokia N-70 and got it replaced by a guy on a phone stall outside Big C Pattaya, for I think around 1000thb much cheaper than I anticipated anyway.
