Airmail From Changmai

Hi all, does postage from ChangMai take much longer than from Bangkok? Just wondering if it goes from road to Bangkok first. Anyone have first hand experience? are postage cost the same as Bangkok? Thanks for all your help.

I have not done an actual price check, however, my experience tells me that postage rates are settled between countries by treaty and that postage stamps and the amount needed between countries is the same regarless of city of origin.

With more than twenty flights a day between CM and Bangkok, I can't imagine them sending airmail via truck.

My air mails to the U.S. seem to get there quicker than they get here, although, FedEx and other package delivery services to CM seem to beat air mail by only a day or two.
