Google Text Ad In Middle Of Thread Very Off-putting!

I notice that a Google text advert now appears after the first thread posting.

Am I the only one who finds this very annoying? The style of this advert makes me assume that I have reached the last post in the thread, and I'm inclined to 'back-button' or to navigate elsewhere and hence miss more recent posts.

I would also question whether such an advert actually generates a decent click-through rate. These are Google adverts, not adverts managed by ThaiVisa itself. So although the adverts which are displayed are based on the content of the thread, the targetting is not that good! (Eg - if the thread is talking about cars in Thailand then the Google advert might be offering a special rate on buying a car in the USA!).
