New regulations to control student brawls

BANGKOK: -- The Office of Higher Education Commission (Ohec) has issued five new regulations to put an end to brawls between students from Rajamangala University's Uthentawai Campus and the Pathumwan Institute of Technology, while both the schools have decided to have their freshmen attend same classes in a separate talk Wednesday.

The commission's secretary-general Sumet Yaemnoon said Wednesday that the additional rules included a strict ban on alcohol consumption on campus, complete records of each student and the installation of closedcircuit cameras at schools' entrances as well as other areas such as venues visited by the students.
