But lived in NZ for a year and came here for 1 month on my way back to the UK. Many places i went to in Thailand had signs saying Teach English. So i thought i could do that. I was pissed off being a sparky.. Some people give English teachers shit. But so what? I enjoy it. I dont just teach English. I also run a couple of football teams at school. Pablo H Posted January 7, 2005 Share Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) Started out working for the Council then Storekeeper Binman (that job stinks) Financial advisor (I hope they didnt take me seriously) Warehouse Manager (in Bangkok, had to quit as I found it impossible to manage Thai staff and the Health and Safety was non-existent) Bar owner (bar failed miserably, but had a whale of a time while it lasted) Engineer (Petro/Chem) Project Co-ordinator (P/C) Currently awaiting to start in Indonesia to assist with NDT (non-destructive-testing zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz), someone's gotta do it! Seriously, I've been a writer for about 12 years--no Great American Novels unfortunately, mostly newsletters, business/finance/technology-related stuff, and serving as creator of propaganda for computer companies. Ohhhh you can go early and just keep an eye on things....RIGHT. I now have manufacturing in China and Taiwan, trying to move more of our products here which is a constant struggle. All my old associates also want to source here and I am working harder than ever. Semi retired my @ss. My largest product line is aftermarket motorcycle parts for big V twin cruisers, mostly Harley.
