Hello All,

I interviewed a Live in Maid/cook the other day. She was okay and we left the interview with her calling me back with her references. I interviewed her in the lobby of our apartment building that we are temporarily living in. Once the gal had left a very angry Thai man came up to me. I did not understand everything he said but something about the ruling class and illegal workers or something. Then he was escorted out of the building. I am not sure what his problem was. We are far from the ruling class and how in the world would he know if she were illegal or not? I never even thought about that during the interview. Do I need to get certain documents from whomever I might hire? Do you register people you hire? What process do you go through to hire someone?
