Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Do any of you know if they offer this therapy here in Thailand and if so, which hospital.

If any of you have had experience with it, can you inform me of the success, etc as i am reading alot about this subject as it seems to be a better alternative to surgery if you can get it.

Best regards

It is extremely new, I don't know if any doctors in Thailand are using it yet, but if so it would probably be specialists in sports medicine.

It is indeed promising but not a panacea, i.e. will not be suitable for all patients/problems or always avoid the need for surgery.

Your best bet is to consult a specialist regarding your specific problem and ask him or her if PRP might be beneficial in your particular case.
