Vitamins

Featured Replies

I dont know about other parts of Thailand, but here in Issan, vitamins are very expensive. I like to take a multi-vitamin daily.

The usual brands here are Centrum and Blackmores. The price is about 4 times that in the US.

Does anyone know where good vitamins can be purchased at a better price?

Fruit is pretty cheap, though. And a much healthier way to get your daily dose of Vitamins.

I like to use St John's Wort - But at 600bt a Bottle it's a big expense. It's extracted from a flower rather than a fruit we can't find any alternative anywhere in thailand.

The B's A's and c's are very inexpensive if you buy them individually rather than the expensive western complxes sold in Thailan pharamcies. They are kept in containers behind the counter, work out 1 bt a tablet at the most.

whenever I ask for Vitimin C in a Thai pharmacy I am usually handed a packet of 'fishermans friends' - Throat sweets - Guess my pronounciation, like my spelling, aint up to much.
