Immigration To Canada (skilled Worker)

Featured Replies

Dear All,

Very sorry to disturb you. Can you please kinldy share some of your experiences or info for me:

I applied immigration to Canada as the skill worker since 2 and half years ago. I have enough points and eveything complete. Around Dec 2008, I can manage to get a job there. Then, that was approved by HRDC (Canada). Then, all these papers were sent to Canadian High Commissioner Office at Singapore on end of Jan 09.

Kindly estimate that how long can it take for the process? I dont need to proivde any info and my points are far more than they need.

Thanking you all in advance.

You should call the embassy, because of the economic climate in Canada now they are stopping work visas. Read in the news paper in Edmomton that there are 56,000 immigrant workers in the provience and the same number in BC. They are talking about not renewing there visas and there is lots of presure on the govt to not renew them. Because many Canadians are out of work now.

So check with the embassy
