Anyone know where I can rent a house (or spacious bungalow with kitchen) by the day in Chao Samran-Puktien-Cha-am-Hua Hin area? Are there any resort compounds that have such units? I take holidays in the area often and would stay 2-4 days each time, with my two little dogs.

Never seen any daily rentals?? maybe a place with Chalets? about 600/700 a day lots of them around, have to ask re-dogs though.

The Rang Yen starts at around a thousand baht per day, probably due to the fact that they house about four to six people.

There are lots of chalet type places but problem is they are either too dark and cramped, don't accept dogs or are not appropriate for them, and I would also like to have a small kitchen if possible.

The Rang Yen is situated on the beach road in Cha-Am. It has about 4 houses situated in the grounds of the restaurant, very pleasant.

The address is 259/40 Ruamjit road. Tel: 032-471267.

Very Pleasant and the food ain't bad either!!

I remember having a meal with you Professor. Probably after one of our fishing trips!
