Hi,

I came here with two 60 day visas from the uk. The second expires on the 13th March, am i right in thinking that as i arrived with a visa already arranged im allowed to extend the visa or get a stamp in soi 5 pattaya for a further 30 days?

If so i believe the fee is around 1900baht but have read that between early march onwards for a period of time visa fees are waived. Will this apply to me? I have a feeling it wont as im not entering Thailand but its worth asking i suppose

If i am granted another 30 days can i then do visa runs afterwards as i want to stay until the end of April.

Also how does my flight fit in with this do i need to provide evidence of a departure date? As staying until the end of april would mean i have to extend my flight twice and pay a fee or is it sufficient enough to state i have a open ticket and subject to extention approval i will make the necessary arrangements.

Many thanks.

You can get an extension of stay of 30 days for 1,900 baht. It will not be waived, as it is not a visa but an extension.

After that you can do border runs, which will give you 15 day each time you cross a land border and come back. Youmight consider getting another double entry tourist visa at Vientianne or phnom Phen.
