Extension Of Stay: Retirement

Recommended Posts

I don't think it's any kind of achievement or something special to get a retirement visa; I only like to share my (very good) experience from this week.

I arrived at Suan Plu at 12.30 (during lunch break). My number was called at 13.40. I left Suan Plu at 13.57 with my visa.

Great service, lovely staff.

I changed from a Marriage to a Retirement extension. My wife didn't have to accept this change with her signature, but I had to sign a form.

I presented the following documents:

TM 7 with picture (same picture I use for the last few years!)

Copy of passeport

Letter from embasssy, confirming income, (Cost Baht 1400)

Letter from the bank, (Cost Baht 200)

(Together total income: Around 1 Mio)

Copy of the entire saving book

If money is not an issue, than Retirement extension is obviously the way to go.
