JimmyGreaves
Friend just got married after short romance. I have heard that as he as can obtain an Irish passport it can be easier to get his wife into the UK. Is this so as I will let him know?
7by7
EEA nationals exercising their treaty rights to live and work in another EEA state are entitled to take their family with them. Even if sais family are not EEA nationals themselves. They do this by obtaining an EEA family permit. Such applications are subject to EEA rules, not the immigration rules of the EEA state concerned. See Chapter 21 - The European dimension.
