Long Wait In Bangkok Airport

Recommended Posts

We'll be flying to Bangkok airport with a lot of luggage -we have a wait of 10 hours before international flight.

Can we leave the luggage anywhere?

Can we pay to get into one of those Executive Lounges?

Any suggestions as of what to do?

What airline are you flying that is the only lounge you can get into also if you have miles you can use them to get into lounge. There could be a joiners fee that could make it to costly. Good luck.

Left luggage

Not sure if this link will work - if not, just type into your address bar.

Pretty sure there are "pay" lounges Havent used one but I think i saw CIP lounge as advertising single entry and pay on site.

If you can get out, do!

Unless you have a Privilage Card or a deal from your airline CIP can be booked in advance for a couple of hours but..@..£25 quid a head :o

Well, there is a left luggage counter in the middle of Departure Hall. Call your airline to ask when you can check in your luggage!

Unless the luggage is checked, you cannot enter the area where the lounges are.

Would you fancy a trip to Bangkok? Take the shuttle and then the 554 or 555 bus to "Future Park Rangsit". Eat, shop and return paying 2 x 34 Baht for the trip. They have spas, too.

The bus ride would take about 75 min plus safety margin plus maybe 15 minutes for the shuttle bus to come.

Enjoy your trip!

Future Park Rangsit? That's quite a trip from Suwannaphum. You must have been referring to Don Muang Airport.

I guess you are assuming you will not be able to check your luggage through to final destination? Is that because your domestic flight into BKK is with different airline?

TH

That's right. I also heard that airports don't have left luggages, which seems to be wrong info.

Bkk does have a left luggage place.

Depending on what time of day and with what airline you are travelling you might be able to check in early to relieve you of the trouble of carrying the luggage around?
