Extension Of Stay Stamp

Good day!

I have but a little query about the Extension of Stay I got from Suan Phlu Immigration, which was granted to me on the basis of my company papers. While it is valid for a year, will it be invalidated when I quit my current job and hand over my WP? This is actually my main concern as my boss didn't let me go to KL to apply for a One Year Multiple Entry Visa but instead had my visa extended just here in BKK, so now I am worried because I want to quit my job but I still want to stay in LOS and perhaps look for a new one.

The day you finish your job you have to leave Thailand or apply for a 7 day extension from Immigration.

When would I need to apply for the extension? A week before I leave my job? Or would it be better to leave Thailand and apply for a 90-day Visa? I really want to be aware of these rules, I don't want to get into some trouble with Immigration

Apply on the day you finnish work the fee is 1,900 Baht. It will then give you 7 days to sort out another Visa.
