Hello there, i have just realised that i will be in Thailand for an extra day over the 30 day's allowed for UK citizens. Iarrive in Thailand on the 30th Nov and depart on the 30th Dec. My question is will i be allowed to fly without a valid visa and will i be allowed to enter Thailand without a visa? I was thinking i'll just pay the fina as it is cheaper or should i just pay for a visa? If i have to get a visa where is the best place to go and pay a courier to sort the visa out for me?

thanks in advance.

The problem is not Thai Immigration. There is a chance that the airline will not let you on the flight. Suggest that you check with them. Or get a Tourist visa. If you are in the UK you can apply easily by post.

Suggest Thai Consulate Hull. http://www.thaiconsul.co.uk/

Hi

You are allowed to overstay one day at no cost...

When you go through immigration on the way out, they will direct you to a higher up, he will check, stamp and send you on your way..

Happened to me twice with no problems..
