Hello,

Our daughter is 2 1/2 and my wife is already saying we need to find a school for our daughter for the next school year.

What age did you find a school for your kids as i think this is a bit young?

Any suggestions or advice would be welcome,

Paul :o

Elder daughter was 1 and 1/2 when started nursery. I think it was good for her.

Younger one will start next year when she is 3 and 4 months.

Our daughter was 2 and a half when we started her at a playgroup/school.

She loves it. There are challenges, language and social skills to respond to

and learn.

I was 5 yrs old when I first went to kindergarden. But that was 50 yrs ago.

BTW, If your daughter does not like the particular school you choose, try another one.

My son will be starting half days at the local independent school in the Nursery class when he is 2 & half. When he turns 3 & half he will go full time & at 4 they start in pre-prep school. Age 2 & half-3 is normal in UK for Nursery (a lot of people wait in UK until 3 though as we receive a grant to help pay fees for all 3-5 year olds)

My son started in a Hua Hin bilingual school in K-1 last year when he was a few weeks shy of 3 years old. I thought it was too early at the time, but I was wrong. School has been a wonderful experience for him.
