General Election

The issue I think is not about opening, but about alcohol sales on election days, which is prohibited. Some places choose not to even bother opening if most of their income comes from alcohol sales... Of course, there always seem to be some exceptions to the law.. TiT.

And, yes, the last confirmed date I heard was Feb. 6th.

Is it true that there will be a general election in Thailand on 6th February 2005?

And if so, will entertainment spots (bars, I mean) be allowed to open?

Just my luck to be arriving in Bangkok on the 5th...

just relax one day without drink won't hurt ya, go get laid or something, better more go eat some oyster, it will take your mind off of drinking. :o
