Hi,

Can I obtain a work permit for Thailand if I work for an Australian importing company ? The work involves buying products, organizing shipping and quality control etc. Most of the business will be conducted in the Chiang Mai district.

Has to be a registered company in Thailand with 2M Baht in paid up capital..... suggest you talk to Sunbelt re the WP.... first you need a Non Immigrant B Visa (apply in Australia) then when you get here you apply for the WP.... your company in Australia can lisiase with sunbelt as to what they need to supply like letter of introduction etc and details about their local company...
