I am due to extend my Non Immigrant O-A(Retirement) visa shortly. I have an embassy letter to confirm my pension income meets immigration requirements. Do I also need to get bank statements showing the money has been deposited or will the letter alone suffice?

The letter should be enough but if you have an account I would take the book along but not offer unless asked.

This is a visa OA entry that has been used as long as it can be? Multi entry can cover up to almost two years as any entry is for one year so one made the day before it expires gets the same one more year.

Thanks for the advice. It's a one year visa due to expire this month.

In Pattaya I have been asked for copies of the last few pages of my Thai bank book despite having an embassy letter confirming my pension is 65000 baht +, this has been the same routine for three years now and I am renewing this week so will see what if anything has changed.

If you have a one year multi entry non immigrant OA visa you get a one year stay on each entry. Is that what you have? Or are you calling a non immigrant O visa (90 day entries) "OA"? Just want you to be sure to get full use if you indeed do have a multi entry OA visa as if the date on the visa has not passed you can obtain a new years stay with an exit/entry.
