I am divorced and my daughter wants to visit me in Thailand, in June.

What is procedure and what should i do at all, to get the visa for my daughter?

She would like to stay for her holiday. Her mother, my ex-wife,will not make a problem about it.

My daughter is 13 years old and she will come alone.

She would like to stay 2 months with me here.

What i have to do about her visa and what kind of visa that would be?

Please for answer ASAP.

Regards,Step. :o

And what is your status here?

Many nationals could just get a tourist visa to stay for 60 days without any input from you.

She can apply for a non-O visa based on visiting her fahter. That will give her an entry for 90 days, more then enough. If it is 60 day or less she can just ask for a tourist visa. These are free until june 4th.

My status is: I am employed here, I have a visa non B and WP and I am under the contract.

Surely the OPs status is irrespective ? The visa is for his daughter and it's given to her not him.

If he is on an extension of stay she could obtain a non immigrant visa to be with him with a copy of his passport/extension of stay; and extend her stay for one year at a time under section 2.20

So yes. It is pertinent.

I stand corrected, but my input was really based on the fact that there was a delay in finding a solution for the OP and I just tried to push it along a bit. Thanks 'Lopburi3'

No problem, I got tied up on other things - just that we really don't know if he is on an extension of stay or not from his reply. As you said overstay should not be a problem but she is going to require a visa of some type. As for Serbia have no idea of visa issuance - if father also has that passport he probably knows more than most of us. Even the airline database comes up with a blank for requirements.

Thanks guys.

Now things are clear. My daughter will not have any special requirements about her visa.

She can go for tourist visa 60 days, in Thai Embassy at her country and to come to visit me.

Good news then.Thanks.

You don't say what country she is in so perhaps that is true - but are you sure there is a Thai Embassy? I expect tourist visa stay will be 30 days rather than 60 but perhaps can be extended for 30 more.
