Not everybody gets the latter. My marriage was 15 years ago and we did not receive anything but the certificates. It was not required by Immigration either. Suspect it has come into vogue sometime in the last decade.

Also marriage paperwork is not the new pink verity.

I got mine 8 years ago in Chiang Rai. Maybe it's different now.

Have a look at the first picture (this is the KR3, actual certificate) and the third picture down (this is the KR2, details of bachelor/spinster)

Mine was issued 14 years ago and we each got a blue coloured cert - thats all
