Hi all,

I have a 3 entry visa and it expires on 10 mai this year. Today i went to immigration in jomtien. I did this today the 8. apr. so i would get a 30 extension, then i thought i would go to the border with Cambodia on 9 mai. However the "nice offficer" stamped the extention to last until 11 mai, wich is one day after my visa expires. Now my question is, does that matters at all ? i can still go to the Cambodian border on 9 mai and get my 3rd entry that is for 2 months?

Any suggestions ? thanks, Erik

You can go to the border anytime before the date your visa expires and receive your third entry.

yes that is what i thought, but wanted to be sure. Thanks very much. But is it not a little odd to get 32 days extention at Jomtien? Or do they just look at the last stamp and add 30 days to that?

The 30 day extension is added to your stay. It does not start on the day you apply.

So in theory, i could have gone to immigration 1 day after the border run (where i got 60 days) and get 30 days from the the date my 60 days expired?

In theory but most offices like you to apply within the final week.
