Thailand Revokes Thaksin's Passport

Yesterday or before yesterday a Muslim community wrote a letter to the King of UAE, asking for help as the red shirts damaged their mosque. Maybe that also helps a little bit.

Wow - hadn't thought of that but it's so true. Not just the mosque, either! I am absolutely 100% sure that no leader of a muslim country forgot what Thaksin did in the south of Thailand.

Hiding in a muslim country? BAD MOVE, Mr. T! That could be his downfall, and it would be just too fitting that he is in some way held accountable for what he did....

I guess the list of countries where T. might find refuge is shrinking pretty rapidly.

To my shame I am sure England will still keep the door open for Thaksin. he has Money

What a short sighted move it would be to bring Taksin back. If the government were to bring him back and try to prosecute him you would just incite the redshirts, after all they are the majority. They are just not as organised with their funding (pay rates to protesters) as the PAD. All the bad madia about the UDD, basically the didn't do anything that PAD hadn't already but now they aren't in power so won't get away with it.

If you bring him back you are guaranteed a revolution, better of to have an election and give the power to the people.

See this video clip!!!!!! Local medias are not telling the truth!

Apparently, a downtown battle field sparked yesterday as the puppet government used the military troop by way of declaring the state of emergency over the area of Bangkok Metropolitan and its vicinities to specifically dissolve by force the Red-shirt protesters. Red-shirt protesters politically demand the puppet prime minister and government-entangling privy councilor head to resign.

In pictures, the troop brutally shot the Red-shirt protesters, who defended their barracks for political rally, to dead and got severe injuries, while the latter retaliated with no weapons. Not only the ordinary citizen, but also a few monks and a three years old child were also murdered by firing bullets. Most corpses were secretly hidden, taken away and destroyed by the troop to avert any physical evidence. Up to now, nearly one hundred people were registered dead and injured, being drastically and contradictorily contrast to the government report, as saying only two persons were dead.

Some pictures exhibited the Red-shirt women knelled themselves down with flowers in front of the soldiers while begging for their lives. Some pictures delineated the soldiers' shameful actions drawing on by dragging and yanking the hair of an unarmed woman protester.

The government also made image-smearing stories, lies and deceptions by hiring people to wear the red shirts and ordered them to create chaos and destroy public properties during the evening time in order to generate widespread civil disobedience, as if the Red-shirt protesters had done by themselves.

COMRADE THAKSIN can keep hanging with the generals you know where, trying to you know what, so they can yeah that's right. Glad they lost this round and hope they lose all others.

The Thais have been pretty resistant to it all. Congrats. All their neighbors caved immediately, years ago.

Wasn't he allegedly seen at the Cambodian PM's residence? Something about that was in the news.

I wonder if Abhisit would invade Cambodia just to get Thaksin.

Jeez, what a guess... makes me speechless. How long have you been around here in Thailand?

/edit spelling

Thaksin is in Dubai. AJE had a face to face interview in a Dubai hotel the day after the crackdown. One that havent been talked too much about on this forum because Thaksin came across balanced and focused in that one.

Where he is now is anyones guess.

link please?

Tons of evidences on the internet showing.... how long can still be lying??? At least they know what they done.. GOD is watching!!!!

Except for having seen no evidence of what you claim, I have no reason to doubt what you say. Please provide the links for all to view. Thank You.

Mmmm ... the courts already ruled against him last year. He has already been convicted of another crime. So in theory, that should be enough without the need to go through the courts again.

Honestly, I don't understand those who stick up for Thaksin in any way. Heads buried in the sand.

I dont believe the sand is where they have their heads.

That's it. Here we go. I don't think I have to add anything else. The thing is that many Thais believe in revolution and hope in democracy and not in Thaksin...no need to tell, what is happening behind, well-informed people (especially Thais) know it.

Apisit should be executed with the military who killed people.

There are no reason at all to use real gun, real tanks and real bullets shot over to innocent people and children. Where is the human rights and have all medias lying to make them look good and made some bad stories to Red shirts which they are tons of people.

Is this a communists country, Reds have no right to protest the government and all Reds's sources of medias, they are to shut down.

They put the dead bodies into the truck and destroyed the evidences!! professional killers!!!!

Why don't do this to the South of Thailand.... may be no ability to overcome that!!!

sources please or seek mental health assistance in your own country

ASTV showed the full video and their concern that it will be miss used.

They prepared for that before........to have some bad picture if nobody is shot.

What video clip are you referring to? The picture you post shows nothing unusual. Scenes like this happen in any riot around the world. The woman in question is apparently in the front line of the mob and if you are there, you must take rough handling into account.

Moreover, there were plenty of youtube videos showing the violence of the red shirts, but i could not really find anything showing the violence of the government. The video footage of Thaksin in recent days speaks for itself, he appears completely lost. Reminds me of the movie about Hitler's the last days in the bunker.

Maybe you can post some links to underline your point or just rest your case.

Anyone can legally buy a passport in most countries. In the UK all you need to do is invest 1 Million GBP.

This wont stop Taksin as he probably anticipated this move before the riots.

Lets face it if there was a fair and democratic election in Thailand today, he or his party would still win!

I fear he will be back someday, and there will be revenge..........

Is this your rubbish or are you quoting the text of someone else. Even the foreign media, who were embedded with the troops and who saw everything, did not make such ridiculous claims. The foreign press reported that two people were killed, both locals from Nang Luang who tried to stop the red shirts from burning their property. They were shot by the red shirts. These facts were reported by the Nang Laung locals directly to the Thai press so it is accurate information.

According to the Thai TV reporters on site and reported live on Thai TV news channels, the women kneeling in front of the troops at the Royal Plaza were asking to be allowed back in to the sealed off area outside government house. They were not begging for their lives. The woman having her hair pulled was also attacked by a local who was very upset at the actions of the red shirts.

The only people telling lies to the foreign press were Thaksin and Jakraphob Penkair and their credibility is now shot to pieces. The foreign media know full well now that Thaksin and his cronies are complete liars and charlatans. If the remarks you quoted are yours, I suggest that you check your facts before you post such garbage.

I am prepared to believe this as a poster far more credible than yourself has posted her staff claims to have viewed a video with 30 or more deaths. Neither she nor you have been able to supply that evidence however.

I think you'll find that many many people here are sympathetic to the "red" cause, but have great difficulty in supporting its actions or leadership.

What Video Clip??????

It was not a soldier pulling the womans hair, it was a man dressed in completely different clothes to the soldiers. so you think all the violence was caused by government people wearing red shirts eh? And who impersonated Thaksin calling for a revolution? The reds are finished after this farce.

I wonder if he was asked to leave UAE after Thai officially contacted their government to talk about extradition.

Arabs traditionally can give shelter to anyone but Thaksin is really testing their hospitatlity here. They won't allow staging revolutions from their soil. Polite as they are, they might find it difficult to reason with Thaksin and just tell him to piss off somewhere else.
