I live in Uttaradit.. I planned to visit my sister in Ubon Ratchattani and get a visa for my daughter in savanakhet (dont know if i spelled it right)..

Do you think, I could get a non-0 (dependent) for my 4 years old daughter in Savanakhet?

Do you think, I could get a re-entry visa in Ubon ratchattani at my sisters place?

I dont like the idea of going to Nan, travel about 3 hours and just spend like half an hour for the re-entry permit..

Please, I need information as we are leaving on friday already..

Thank you!

You will only get re-entry at your extension of stay location. Savannakhet has not been the best place for any visa issue recently. You are aware there is no problem for children to be here on expired stay? They will not be fined and immigration openly tells people this.

As you are on anual extensions she can get 12 month extensions as your dependant.

She can also get 12 monthly extensions as being enroled in a Thai School.

You will have to go to Nan to get the Re Entry Permit and apply for any extension for her.

Savannakhet should issue her a Tourist Visa.

Not sure if Nan is open. Better check that before you go.

Also I'm not sure on converting a tourist visa to an ED visa, for dependent it should be no problem.

I was talking about the daughter. I'm not sure she can convert a tourist visa into an ED visa for her daughter, but she can apply for a conversion from a tourist visa to a dependend visa for her daughter.
