Please Help!

Hello all,

My girlfriend is travelling to Thailand tomorrow, she has not applied for a visa as she did not think she would be staying for over 30 days.

It turns out, however, that she will be staying for an extra eight hours over the 30 day limit. I'd imagine 8 hours over the limit isn't going to be a problem but it is worrying her and i'd really like to be able to tell her it's okay! Does anybody know if this is okay or whether she needs to apply for an extension?

Her only problem may be boarding the flight. Some airlines will not let you board if you do not have a ticket leaving Thailand within 30 days if you do not have a Visa.

Immigration in Thailand will be no problem she will be allowed 1 day overstay at the departure airport with no fine. But she will get a stamp in her passport.

A shame as she could have got a Tourist Visa for free at the moment.
