Is it just me or.....?

I haven't seen so much hype for a dud since Bros and Sigue Sigue Sputnick (Ads between the tracks did not catch on did they?).

Every time I turn on the TV there they are on a chat show, special guests on some over TV show or the other, music vids of their 'latest album, announcements containing info on their latest concert tour. Heck spare me.

They were all so so average on the original show although by the end it had captured the interest of the Thai public but now it is overkill.

Listening to them is painful, hearing their views on the world I can live without and the girls in the bunch are not exactly pleasing on the eye

It is time to put an end to it.

apologies for the rant but i feel better now

Yeah I agree but theres something about it the natives just love, my father in law, (a stony faced man who really doesn't show emotion, and if looks could kill etc..) Loves it and I've actually seen him blub :o when they get voted off!

Ahh the power of good TV ay?!

I went to see Sigue Sigue Sputnik at the Royal Albert Hall in 1987.

They put on a good show !

Ads on their cassette were for ID Magazine, Tempo, Atari, among others. That was 18 years ago, and if I can still remember the advertisers, whose to say it didn't work subliminally !!
