The climate is exellent so why not grow something if you have a bit of land.

1)You need to make water available. Often its in the ground some meters below

so you can get your own water supply with a bit of help.

I have lived here 10 years now so you go step by step, take a step morning and one in the evening.

2) grow bananas first its a good start for the soil and its rather fast. You have to visit a neighbour and seperate a meter high shot from a motherbanana and bring that home with its own roots.

I will move on in a later message because you have to stop right there. One day at a time.

Thanks for this comment. That takes me back to just buying land from a farmer, just say your in love thats ok! He might walk over your Estates afterwards but if you hire someone

for 8000 bath to dig a waterchannel around your land he and other landowners respects a

new settler there. Remember its free love governments cannot come and say we own this place the farmer and his friends the whole community cannot have these people here they

dont do anything by nature so they dont make money. If you like ordinary people you might fit.

How to create own garden in a thai countryside

Does your missus know you posted a photo of her (very shapely) rear on the net :D and where did she get those blue pants :o

My lady tries to grow anything and everything - see a plant she likes, collect seeds, grow. Palm trees, pineapple (from a cut off top), jackfruit you name it, we have it all growing like wildfire :D
