There I am, sat in my favourite bar. My favourite lady serving me after she made certain I was sat at one of her tables. (This lady has a Thai b/f of several years and not interested in me in that respect.)

After the mixers arrive and she makes my drink, she asks me if I have been going from here to XX bar.

I reply that I have and ask if it is a problem to which she says, 'no.'

Then I ask why she wants to know and who has been talking to her. She makes a face of someone wearing spectacles and then turns round and points with her head to a table across the room. To a table where an ex is sat and she and her friend are sat with 3 men.

Seems this ex has been talking to the staff, telling them that I have been going from this pub to the XX bar.

I cannot see why she would want to do so. Who cares where I go after the first bar? Not as if I am currently involved with a woman. Seems to me like sh*t stirring and trying to cause me a problem or 2.

Go back several days and my front tyre on the car was stabbed in the side wall.

Go back a couple of days and I was in BigC on the m/c. Meeting a female friend (who happens to be a lesbian and also not interested in me). Had coffee for a couple of hours in Black Canyon as she had several problems to discuss. When I left the m/c it was OK. When I got back the rear tyre was flat. Had it repaired. No foreign object in the tyre, but there was a neat round hole. So, I go to BigC and have a strange flat tyre.

I go to my favourite pub and word is out - shock, horror - that I go to a second pub around 11-30 p.m.

Yet, who would know I am in pub X and then in pub XX ??

3 reaons spring to mind.

1) Each time, someone has seen me in both pubs and reported back - unlikely?

2) I am followed. But they would have to be waiting outside to follow me. No one knows if I would leave pub X or at what time I would ask for the bill. Never the same each time I go. Sometimes stay in this pub all night until closing.

3) The friend I told recently that I have started at Pub X and then gone on to pub XX several times has been in touch with this ex and told her?

I realise there is a network here in LOS but what would be the percentages of 1,2 or 3 happening? My money has to be on number 3.

In that case, this slimeball sh*t is grassing me up & I do not know why.

The main reason for my concern is that on Sunday a lady I know is visiting from BKK. Her family live here. She wants to meet up with me properly for the first time and I am worried for her safety as there are a limited number of places to go to that are any good.

Should I be concerned for her safety?

Should I advise her not to meet me?

Would I be better off telling her of the current situation or leaving her in the dark and hoping nothing goes awry? (thinking here of visits to the toilet etc., where I cannot go and keep my eye on her.)

Or are Thai women perfectly capable of looking after themselves in these situations?

No, not a troll post. It is surprising the sh*t I am getting recently. I am not concerned for myself, I am a big lad and can handle myself. My concern is purely for this new lady ( Sorry GH , I mean Woman )

Uh... that was the most convoluted and badly explained story I've ever read.. Ex what? Safety in danger why? Who slashed your tires?! Theres a bar named PubX and another nearby named PubXX? God Thai people have no imagination.....

Sounds like your Ex. is slightly miffed with you and remember the saying 'A woman scorned' etc.,

If I were you, I'd inform the lady that you are meeting on Sunday of the situation and let her make her own mind up whether to visit you or not. This story is quite common in Pattaya.

I'd leave the motor at home and go out on the town and give your ex more reasons to be pished - The green eyed monster is a self distucting beast .... Make sure its well fed.

However, if you are worried about your date with the new lady, why not skip X and XX bars completely, and go to XXX bar where you have never been before, and no one knows who you are?
