hello folks, just wondering if the gambling situation in Thailand has been legalized yet or have they back tracked on that idea? I would appreciate any info or links on this.

But seriously...

Legalized gambling will never become a reality in Thailand until the Thais do away with the 'narrow-minded' way of thinking. They claim to hold sacred, buddhist teachings and the buddhist way of life. Yeah right. What a load of crap. Anyone who has lived here long enough or has been exposed to the way of life will know there is no truth to such claim whatsoever. If anything, it's the exact opposite. Even the Thais themselves realize it, but they won't admit to it. Thailand is a country in denial. People here need to change their way of thinking and start coming to terms with reality. It's long overdue.
