Hospitals

Featured Replies

morning people. from one of your soon to be neighbor, if all goes well.

yes , hospitals, it looks as i've got to have a hip op., no golf for the last 8mths or so, and its now becoming a real nuisance , so when we get there , get settled, the younguns at school, its time to consider where to get it done.

i wouldnt dream of getting it done down here in phuket, although the bangkok, phuket hospital looks fab, new and clean, its really as average as most phuket hospitals here , only more expensive, apart from that one of the nurses told me not to get it done there, due to lack of experience with the docs, reassuring or what.

so, chiangmai, what'd reckon, hip op, anyone had one up there, and where.

have been told bangkok is the place to go, but if there are options on my doorstep.

thanks chaps.

Chiang Mai Ram is the best in town and a lot cheaper than Bangkok. - Hip surgery

Have you thought about the follow ups /physiotherapy you may neeed...this could be a good reason for getting it locally.

Dr. Chanakot is excellent. He has a joint clinic at Rajivej and at Suan Doc. Check for his name on the Chiang Mai forum
