I need to do some wiring. Which wire do I disconnect and what do I connect my wire to?

Good news - the wiring is all fine.

Disconnect all the black wires and then tape yours to the pole.

There is a small possibility that once the wires are all removed the pole will fall down, in which case revert back to instruction manual!

If you look carefully about 3/4 of the way up the pole, you will see a shoe. That shoe is on my foot.

Please do not come up here until I am finished. Better yet, cut ALL of the wires and GET ME OUT OF HERE !!

Having wired and plumbed my own home that I built from the foundation to the roof shingles I know something about wiring. Most wiring is basically simple and the mess shown in the photo is just the same thing repeated many times over. But, what amazes me is how the poor Asian electrician knows which wire goes where in such a tangle of wires. I've got dozens of similar photos I've taken all over Asia. It never ceases to amaze me.
