paying taxes in thailand as an american
Is the requirement based on living in the USA or being a citizen while living in the USA for 5 years. Usually it takes at least 3 years to get citizenship so would only need 2 more years after becoming a citizen. -

Concrete Driveway Resurfacing
You could go with epoxy paint. Stuff is extremely durable, you can paint it yourself and it is thicker than normal paint, filling the gaps and smoothing surface a little bit. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/toa-100-2-epoxy-coating-toa-floorguard-100-part-ab-3785-i4378851938-s17443601159.html? -

Kamala Harris supports the Radical Trans and Homosexual Agenda
So, I should just ignore all those saying they ARE replacing us in our homelands, and it is a "good thing" to do so? Is "gentrification" of a neighborhood bad? But doing the same thing to entire nations is not, somehow? Why are some people's cultures and traditions to be revered and respected, while others are to be derided and destroyed, even where the culture/traditions being attacked are of the indigenous people? Why are some people encouraged to celebrate having a homeland for their people, and others are condemned for the same? And, why is being CONSISTENT on this - supporting homelands + preservation of Culture and Traditions for ALL peoples - a "bad thing" - vs the Hypocritical position? And, what does being Lebanese, Palestinian, or Israeli (= Semite) have to do with it? What an ODD thing to say. I doubt all of those which this comment ostensibly "defends" would want this association directed at them as a group. On the "Gay Agenda" thing - are you really saying school districts did not include this propaganda in their official "curriculum" - rather than leave it to parents to discuss such matters with their children when THEY feel it is appropriate? Have you missed the school board meetings where parents tried to read from the books in their school libraries, and were shut down for it being too pornographic? Gay or Straight, that is INAPPROPRIATE for children - up to 18 years old. Once again, I have the CONSISTENT position - opposing ANY sexual-content directed at children. Yet those who support pushing "gay" porn on kids will call that "bigoted." As bad as all that is, taking away a child's hope of EVER being a parent in a marriage with their own biological children, with castrating-drugs (which Trump supported in 2021) or surgical removal of parts of their bodies, is much, much worse. -

Reduce taxation by gifting.
Several people have offered opinions on this but the TRD themselves have remained silent, with the exception of a statement made at a presentation in Hua Hin many months ago which I won't repeat here because I can't be bothered looking for the link! That said, two countries, India and Japan, have both enacted legislation this year to address the issue of overseas use of credit cards. In both examples, foreign transactions are subject to a government levy as an acknowledgement that those transactions are assessable income of sorts. This is similar to the UK HMRC model whereby credit card transactions by non-doms are regarded as assessable income. The link to the articles is below. -

New travel rules: Thailand’s ETA to shake up visa-free visitors
So they think nearly 40 million people every year are going to go to the e-Visa website, register, go through an annoying menu system and provide who knows what information, to get a (digital) code - 24 hours before flying here ? The vast majority of arrivals every year are likely from "Visa Exempt" countries. So now they want to make it even more complicated for them. And this "ETA" will be verified at every airline check-in counter of every airline at every airport that has flights to Thailand ? And people who don't have it will be denied boarding ? And what happens to all the people who arrive having no idea what this ETA thing is ? Will they be denied entry and forced to sit in the Arrivals area (or detention center) until they can get a flight home ? And what about the border runners ? Will they have to get an ETA for their "10 minutes in Cambodia and then back into Thailand" trips every 60 days ? My buddy tried using the e-Visa site and got so frustrated with it he gave up and just arrived on a 30 day stamp last year and then did the "30 day extension" and "border run" routine a couple times. The new 60 day Visa Exempt stamp was going to eliminate the need to go to the e-Visa site. I guess they don't want to lose business so they found a new way to force people to go there.- 1
