The Election Commission on Thursday threw out complaints charging the Democrats for rigging the Jaunuary by-elections on the ground of lacking evidence for any wrongdoing.

In two separate complaints, the Democrats were charged for trying to fix the by-election outcome by colluding with coalition parties to field electoral candidates avoiding to compete with one another.

The compliants were filed by senator Ruangkrai Leekitwattana and Pheu Thai MP Surpapong Towijakchaikul.
