Chiang Mai Usually 2 Or 3 Degrees Hotter Than Forecast

Featured Replies

Almost every day, weather.com predicts a high temp, and later shows 2 or even 3 degrees C hotter. Today it got to 36; forecast 33. Felt hotter.

Predictions don't work in this country.

If you want to know the temperature for tomorrow, look at the actual listings for yesterday. :) (Seriously)

Could it be that weather.com are not really up to it? For tomorrow (Sunday) they forecast 33 degrees (at 3 pm), whereas the Thai Meteorological Department ( http://www.tmd.go.th/en/province.php?id=2 ) forecast 36 degrees. I bet the TMD are closer to it :)

If you're concerned, why not just add the missing two or three degrees to the forecast?
